Our common goal 

As Chief Information Officer A key priority will be to build the digital capabilities required for Vitra’s future growth agenda—particularly stronger direct-to-consumer, retail and omnichannel model. You will shape and lead Vitra’s global IT, Product Data and AI strategy, ensuring technology and digital capabilities contribute directly to business success. Reporting to the CFO of the Vitra Group, you will lead an international organization of more than 70 experts across multiple locations, including Berlin and Prague. You will drive the company’s digital transformation through standardized and cost-efficient technology platforms, further strengthen our omnichannel capabilities and enable sustainable business value through innovation, AI and international collaboration. 

Your impact in the role 

• Lead and further develop a global organization of more than 70 IT and Product Data professionals, fostering an inclusive, collaborative and performance-oriented culture
• Define and execute Vitra’s global IT, Product Data and AI strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and long-term company objectives
• Build the digital foundation for Vitra’s future customer-facing business models
• Drive the standardization, consolidation and modernization of core platforms, enterprise systems and technology frameworks to increase scalability, efficiency and business value 
• Build and strengthen a globally distributed organization through end-to-end process perspectives and efficient operating models, enabling effective collaboration with business process owners
• Ensure cost-efficient, secure, compliant and stable IT operations, infrastructure and services while continuously improving performance and reliability
• Lead digital transformation initiatives and accelerate the adoption of AI use cases and modern technologies across business and IT functions 

How you can convince 

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field
• More than 10 years of leadership experience in global IT organizations with a proven track record in digital transformation and technology-driven business value creation
• Demonstrated success in building, leading and developing internationally distributed teams and fostering cross-functional collaboration
• Strong experience with ERP environments, preferably SAP, cloud-native technologies and enterprise-wide platform standardization initiatives
• Proven expertise in defining and implementing AI, data and technology strategies that support business growth and operational excellence
• Deep knowledge of information security, data governance, enterprise architecture and modern IT operating models, ideally including ITIL-based processes
• Excellent English skills are essential; German language skills are considered an advantage
