Our common goal
As experienced IT leader skilled in agile practices and product-focused team structures you are responsible for our global IT, digitization and Product Data strategy. The role focuses on advancing our digital transformation through strategic technology and data frameworks, aligning IT initiatives with business priorities, and driving innovation. You will lead a global team of over 80 experts and report directly to the CFO of the Vitra Group.
What can you expect?
- Developing the team, fostering a culture of growth, and empowering talent to achieve excellence
- Further develop the IT & Product Data organization as a strategic, value-oriented partner, aligning technology initiatives with business goals and stakeholders
- Create and implement a strategic technology and data framework to guide the company’s digital transformation and drive digital value creation aligned with strategic business priorities, contributing to both top-line and bottom-line improvements
- Drive digital transformation & innovation by leading the adoption and integration of modern technologies and agile practices across the entire organization (business & IT)
- Ensure efficient, secure, compliant and stable operations of IT & Product Data processes, platforms and infrastructure and lead the continuous modernization thereof
- Continuously evolve the IT & Product Data organization and its people
How you can convince
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in IT leadership roles with proven success in digital transformation, technology innovation, and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and cloud-native platforms
- Exceptional strategic thinking, with the ability to align technology and data initiatives with business priorities
- Demonstrated ability to drive transformation programs that deliver measurable business value
- Expertise in information security, data governance, analytics, and enterprise architecture
- Knowledge of agile practices and product-oriented team structures
- Solid understanding of foundational IT processes, preferably ITIL
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills are essential for this position
