Supply Chain Manager (f/m/d)

We are looking for a passionate, independent personality for our Supply Chain department who, together with a small, effective team, will scrutinize Vitra's supply chains and help us chase the ideal of supply chain excellence.
What you can expect
- Designing and building of a leaner, resilient, cost-efficient and future-oriented supply chain in Europe and far away markets
- Monitoring and optimizing stock levels to minimize costs while ensuring delivery capability and reliability
- Developing market segment- and target group-specific lead times and ensuring their long-term stability
- Evaluating new products for various SC-relevant criteria, driving “make or buy” decisions and integrating products into existing processes
- Identifying, developing and implementing digitalization and automation projects to optimize Vitra's supply chain
- Managing (cost) optimisation projects across the entire supply chain
How you can convince us
- Bachelor's or ideally Master's degree in one of the following fields: Supply Chain Management, International Management, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering
- Fascination for the interdependencies and control mechanisms as well as process understanding of international supply chains and replenishment processes
- Project management experience in cross-functional teams
- Experience in handling a varied and complex product portfolio in an industrial corporate environment
- Results-oriented person with hands-on problem-solving skills
- Ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously in a mostly remote setup and collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams
- Analytical and conceptual way of working, assertiveness and very good communication skills with a focus on successful stakeholder management
- SAP knowledge
- Very good knowledge of English, German and other foreign languages are an advantage
