Our common goal
As Regional Sales Manager, Northern California & Pacific Northwest for the contract division at Vitra North America, you will be empowered to grow a multi-faceted business portfolio in your region with a focus on A&D, Dealer, and End-User clients. You will collaborate with a growing sales team to achieve targets while sharing your passion for design with the local community. The position is based in San Francisco with a salary range between $100,000 to 175,000 a year. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Act as an ambassador for Vitra, educating and inspiring both the A&D and Dealer community
  • Develop business through existing and new contacts, building relationships with the A&D, key accounts and dealer partners
  • Collaborate and share information with intracompany teams (i.e. key accounts and public seating)  
  • Work with dealer partners to maintain and develop business focused on ancillary product portfolios
  • Drive adoption of Vitra digital resources such as our dealer platform (Vitra Professionals) 
  • Develop and implement frequent in-person and virtual events with various clients and influencers 
  • Attend and network at design community events
  • Track, forecast and report on key metrics that indicate sales performance using Salesforce and proprietary software
  • Partner with marketing and sales support functions on customer facing initiatives to increase lead generation and drive sales

 

Qualifications

  • Thrive in a highly collaborative and team-oriented sales organization
  • Experience dealing directly with top A&D firms and a proven track record of success
  • Strong network of local contacts within assigned territory with understanding of technical requirements, market competition, and workplace trends 
  • Confidence in all aspects of a sale from detection to negotiation and closing
  • Superior level communication, presentation and public speaking skills
  • Self-motivated with a desire to grow business 
  • Proficient in utilizing Salesforce, Outlook, Power Point and Microsoft 365 Office Suite
