Our common goal
To our accounting team in Prague we are looking for a Junior Accountant. You will be part of a small team of experienced accountants and work in an international setup. After an intensive onboarding and training phase, you will take early responsibility for a defined accounting area within the team. The role has a strong operational focus, with opportunities to contribute to process optimization and international collaboration. The scope of this position will mainly cover English speaking countries.

What you can expect

• End-to-end responsibility for the daily Accounts Payable (AP) operations, including invoice processing and approvals, payment runs and related internal controls, working on supplier queries, and bank accounting
• Execution of AP-related monthly closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations
• Handling of credit cards and Travel & Expense (T&E) processes
• Intercompany billing and intercompany reconciliations
• Support in general ledger accounting and fixed assets
• Support in monthly and annual financial closings together with the responsible Finance Manager

How you can convince

• Approx. 3 years of professional experience as a Financial Accountant or in a comparable accounting role
• Solid hands-on experience with Accounts Payable and bank accounting
• Proficient use of SAP FI would be preferable
• Initial experience in general ledger accounting
• Interest in developing within a modern, international accounting environment
• Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage but not mandatory
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken, are required; further language skills are an advantage
• Structured, reliable, and proactive working style with a strong sense of ownership
