The Position 
For our Sales Department in our office in Paris we are looking for a multi-talented Sales Manager f/m/d in order to develop and manage accounts, architects and real estate actors. The aim is to create new business opportunities and convert them into sales. In this role you would be responsible to achieve a sales target and also contribute to the wider commercial approach and development of the brand. This role encourages active collaboration within the French Sales team and offers the opportunity to become part of an established sales organisation.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as an ambassador for Vitra in the French market
  • Develop new businesses and new clients to expand sales
  • Manage relationships with national and international Key Accounts 
  • Build relationships with A&D and Real Estate community
  • Ability to sell premium products and concepts 
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
  • Negotiating with stakeholders (internally & externally) 
  • Develop and implement frequent events and activities with various clients and influencers
  • Attend and network at industry events
  • Track, forecast and report on activities and sales using CRM (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Following industry trends locally and internationally 
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts / discount agreements
  • Partner with marketing and sales support functions on customer facing initiatives to increase lead generation and drive sales


Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree and/or 5 to 10 years working experience in sales in a comparable industry
  • Excellence in all aspects of a sales process from prospection to negotiation and closing
  • Experience dealing directly with top A&D firms and a proven track record of success
  • Good knowledge of the Real Estate network
  • Experience in managing Key Accounts and International Key Accounts
  • Strong, authentic sales personality with relevant experience in omnichannel sales 
  • Very good communication skills
  • Solution-driven approach
  • Good knowledge of English and French is necessary
  • Affinity for design and architecture and a good sense for quality and aesthetics
  • Thrive in a highly collaborative and team-oriented sales organization
  • Self-motivated with a desire to grow business 
  • Proficient at using Salesforce, PCon Planner, Outlook and Microsoft 365 Office Suite
