Junior Sales Manager f/m/d
Our common goal
Vitra is seeking a driven junior to join our growing New York contract sales team. We are looking for someone passionate about design, enthusiastic about our company’s mission, and eager to contribute to our growth in the New York market. This role focuses on the contract sector, engaging with both Architecture & Design (A&D) firms, dealer partners, and directly with clients. This is primarily an outside sales position, operating from our New York showroom opening Spring 2025.
What you can expect
- Brand Ambassador: Serve as a passionate advocate for Vitra, inspiring and educating the A&D and dealer communities about our history, concepts, and products.
- Relationship Building: Foster relationships with key players in the A&D community, key accounts, and dealer partners, while building a larger network within our industry and beyond.
- Account Management: Assist in managing several key A&D accounts within the territory, including global-focus accounts.
- Dealer Management: Support in the management of assigned dealer accounts including training, target setting, and strategizing to work with them to achieve their sales targets.
- Community Engagement: Participate in and assist in organizing both in-person and virtual events, connecting with clients and influencers. Attend and network at design community events to enhance Vitra’s presence.
- CRM Management: Maintain and update all sales activities in Salesforce to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Global Coordination: Collaborate with Vitra’s global network to support and synchronize efforts on key accounts and global A&D projects.
- Salary range of $80,000 – 100,000 USD/year dependent on experience

- Lifelong Learner: Committed to continuous learning and development, with a keen interest in developing new skills and insights including AI and other digital tools.
- Self-Motivated: A proactive mindset, sense of accountability, and a passion for growing both individual accounts and the overall business.
- Workplace Enthusiast: Believes in the office and the power of coming together in our space as a team. While outside sales activity is needed, the sales team is based in our showroom and remote work is infrequent.
