We are seeking an experienced and highly collaborative Head of Project Management & Client Services to lead our project management, client services, and logistics teams in New York.This role is central to the successful execution of complex furniture and interior projects across workplace, public, transportation, and residential environments. Working closely with our North American sales organization and with production and operations teams in Europe, you will oversee the full project lifecycle—from quotation and specification through delivery, installation, and post-project review ensuring operational excellence, exceptional client experiences, and the highest standards of quality and design.
What you can expect
- Lead, mentor, and further develop the project management, client services, and logistics teams, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex projects with a strong focus on quality, timelines, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
- Act as the primary escalation point for clients, resolving complex operational, logistical, and project-related challenges
- Collaborate closely with sales, operations, logistics, finance, and marketing teams across North America and Europe
- Manage project budgets, quotations, pricing reviews, and post-project financial analysis
- Oversee RFI, RFP, and tender processes, including preparation of quotations and comprehensive project documentation
- Support value engineering initiatives and identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and execution
- Review technical drawings, floor plans, and specifications to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with client expectations
- Manage order processing and project tracking using SAP S/4HANA and related systems
- Coordinate and supervise on-site installations as required, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to quality standards
- Continuously improve operational workflows, communication processes, and client service standards
- Salary range of $120,000 – $160,000 USD annually and a comprehensive benefits package
How you can convince
- Minimum of 6 years of project management experience, ideally within the furniture, architecture, design, or related industries
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and complex, multi-stakeholder projects
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management abilities
- Experience coordinating logistics, supply chain processes, and installation projects
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Comfort working with project management and ERP systems; experience with SAP S/4HANA and Salesforce is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with CAD software, rendering tools, and Adobe Photoshop is a plus
