Our common goal

As an A&D Relations & Specifications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Vitra’s presence within the A&D community by showcasing its diverse portfolio and conveying its cultural and environmental mission.

Your primary focus will be engaging with architects and designers while also working closely with the company’s distribution network to ensure alignment with Vitra’s values and strategic objectives.

 

What you can expect

  • Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers and relevant industry stakeholders.
  • Specification Management: Working hand in hand with A&Ds professionally across various industry sectors by understanding project requirements and offering tailored solutions that align with the brand’s ethos. Experience in contract business with the workspace segment focus is an asset.
  • Product & Design Expertise: Act as a brand ambassador by conveying Vitra’s unique design philosophy, cultural values, and sustainability commitments. Provide design solutions, tailored creative presentations, and technical documentation to integrate project specifications.
  • Sales: Work closely with the sales team to align with project specifications and ensure a seamless understanding of client needs, demonstrating an impeccable proactive instinct toward client satisfaction.
  • Project Management: Oversee a project lifecycle in collaboration with the designer / client, internal teams, ensuring timely and successful delivery of Vitra’s solutions.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay informed about design trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects within the A&D community.
  • In-House Training: Conduct training sessions for dealers to enhance their understanding of Vitra’s product range, environmental commitments, softwares and guidelines, thus ensuring they are well-equipped to represent the brand effectively.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing and logistics in alignment with shared goals, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.

 

How you will make an impact

We are seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing professional with a passion for design, exceptional interpersonal and social skills, and a strong ability to build meaningful connections while driving project specifications with both the A&D community and Vitra’s dealer network.

 

  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the A&D landscape and dealer ecosystem in the GCC region, including key players, market trends, and project cycles.
  • Client Engagement & Skills – A social and proactive professional with outstanding interpersonal, presentation, and project management abilities, a natural connector, comfortable engaging with A&Ds and dealer networks.
  • Experience & Technical Proficiency – 3-5 years in furniture design, interior-design, or architecture, with expertise in FF&E, project cycles, design softwares (AutoCAD, SketchUp), CRM, Microsoft Office.
  • Education & Reporting – A Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field. Reporting directly to the Regional Leader of the Middle East.
  • Languages: Fluency in English. Arabic is an asset.
