The position

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative Digital Project Manager to join our team. As a Digital Project Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing Vitra’s global digital editorial strategy for social media, the company website and the newsletters in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. In this position you will work closely with the Customer Relationship Manager, the Content teams and the Marketing Managers in the markets. 


Your responsibilities

  • Developing, implementing and managing Vitra’s digital content strategy 
  • Define and track the brand’s digital KPIs 
  • Managing and overseeing social and website content 
  • Measuring the success of the digital campaigns 
  • Staying up to date with latest digital best practices and technologies 
  • Using digital marketing tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Social Studio) 
  • Working with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing 
  • Monitoring SEO and user engagement and suggesting content optimization 
  • Creating entertaining and informative digital content for all channels 
  • Communicating with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network 
  • Train and oversee Vitra’s markets to help them excel in local digital content creation initiatives 

Your Qualification

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Social Media Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, Digital Content Manager or similar role 
  • University degree 
  • Highly articulate with an excellent command of written English. Additional language skills in German, French would be an advantage 
  • Excellent knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, WeChat and other social media best practices 
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics 
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research 
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
