The Position
As Project Management Support for product development you will be part of several ongoing product innovations during product development projects on the one hand and on the other hand you contribute to the steering, analysis and management of the project portfolio of a leading design furniture company.

Furthermore, the point by point optimisation of our product development and -realisation process from the product idea until the launch is a key task during the internship. Your main tasks are to be found in project management, process elaboration and definition. In this role you report to the Head of Project Management R&D as well as to the different project leads and act in a cross-functional area connecting several different departments across Vitra.


Your Responsibilities 

  • Support project portfolio management by gathering project data, monitoring project status and keeping them up-to-date
  • Continue the Project Management Tool implementation across the organization and act as trainer and promoter for product development
  • Support daily operation of Project Managers: preparing and facilitating their meetings or workshops.
  • Creating presentations for several stakeholders, including the management
  • Collaborate within the team and ensure that cross-functional project team members adhere to agreed processes and requirements
  • Support the team in their daily tasks: prepare, support and run workshops
  • Document process improvements and support training documents


Your Qualifications 

  • Student in the area of business administration, industrial engineering or similar (internship or Werksstudent), preferable with basic technical knowledge
  • Microsoft Office: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Skills, Strengths in Outlook and Teams (nice-to-have)
  • High interest and skills in project and process management
  • Good communication skills
  • We communicate in German and English
