Senior Manager Strategy & Projects f/m/d

You will help shape Vitra’s future direction while ensuring the successful execution of strategic priorities across the organization. Working closely with Executive Management and leaders across functions, you will translate strategic ambitions into measurable business outcomes and drive initiatives that strengthen Vitra’s commercial, operational, and digital capabilities. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine strategic thinking with hands-on implementation in an international and design-driven environment. 

Your Impact in the Role 

Strategy Development & Business Insights 

• Support the development and execution of Vitra's corporate strategy through market, customer, competitive, and commercial analyses 

• Develop business cases, strategic options, and recommendations for Executive Management and Board discussions 

• Translate strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps and initiatives that support sustainable business growth 

Strategic Projects & Transformation 

• Lead strategic and cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation, ensuring delivery against objectives, timelines, and business value 

• Structure complex business challenges and facilitate workshops, strategy processes, and management discussions 

• Coordinate stakeholders across functions, markets, and organizational levels to drive alignment and successful execution 

Commercial Growth & Customer Experience 

• Support growth initiatives across Vitra's Contract (B2B) and Home (B2C) businesses by assessing opportunities across customer segments, channels, and geographies 

• Drive projects that strengthen customer experience, commercial performance, omnichannel capabilities, e-commerce activities, retail operations, and dealer networks 

Operational & Digital Excellence 

• Identify and implement improvements in business processes, operating models, and ways of working 

• Lead process optimization, systems implementation, and organizational improvement initiatives in collaboration with business and IT teams 

• Support the adoption of digital technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, while ensuring sustainable implementation through effective change management 

How You Can Convince 

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business transformation, business development, operational excellence, or a comparable environment 

• Proven track record of leading complex cross-functional projects from strategy development through implementation and delivery 

• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate insights into practical recommendations 

• Experience in one or more of the following areas: corporate strategy, business transformation, project management, commercial excellence, e-commerce, omnichannel, customer experience, process optimization, or digital technologies 

• Experience within premium consumer brands, retail, lifestyle, design-led, manufacturing, industrial, or related environments is advantageous 

• Exposure to both B2B and B2C business models is highly desirable 

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline
